Add https://cogentspec.com/mcp to Claude as a custom connector, complete OAuth, and review its read-only tools.

Install Claude in Chrome
Sign in with an eligible paid plan, install Anthropic's official extension, and pin the Claude side panel.

Install the Local Workspace Bridge
Authorize approved CogentSpec actions to reach Codex in the exact local project folders you choose.

Enable CogentSpec and open the workspace
Enable the CogentSpec connector for the Claude conversation, then open the approved workspace beside it.

CogentSpec does not supply the Claude plan. Anthropic controls Claude in Chrome access and may ask you to upgrade or switch accounts.
